Review: Destined for an Early Grave by Jeaniene Frost

Title: Destined for an Early Grave
Author: Jeaniene Frost
Series: Night Huntress series book 4
Genre: Urban fantasy (Vampires, Ghosts, Ghouls), Romance

Cat, a half vampire and half human, finally settled down. She quit her job to be with Bones, her husband. However, happily ever after is still far from her reach. New trouble is lurking after their war with one of the most powerful vampires.

Gregor, who claims to be Cat's husband, is out to get her back. Gregor is lurking in Cat's dreams to try and snatch her from the hands of Bones. Another war is coming and it seems that the pressure of everything is breaking the star crossed lovers apart.

This book is a bit absurd, very much a disappointment.

The thing about this book is that the story does not match at all. The way I see it is that the author just made this all up without even thinking about it. She just wants to make a book that will test the love of the couple but it just doesn't add up to everything. It wasn't really a good idea.

Also, the bad thing about this book is that all Bones and Cat does is fight with each other. They keep on fighting for the whole duration that you just end up getting frustrated with how stupid they are acting. Though with all their fighting, Vlad did have lots of scenes. >.<

Can't really say anything much, other than the fact that there are still lots of things in here that is both shocking and intriguing, like how strong can Cat be?

PS: I just got this from my Goodreads account so this is my very first review and impression of the book. You need to read the series continuously, including the spin-offs. Well, I  just read the series of Cat first, since I can't get over the great couple, and just jump back to Denise's and Kira's stories. Though, if you do this some parts won't really mix with the next book of Cat.

Rating: 4/5
